Late/Absence Procedures

Children's attendance and punctuality is of the utmost importance to us as a school.  We monitor both attendance and punctuality for all children as do the Vale of Glamorgan.

It is vitally important that children attend school regularly and are on time.  If your child's attendance becomes an issue we will be in contact with you to arrange a meeting in order to find out if there is genuine reason for the absence and whether or not we can help.

If your child is absent from school please either email on holtonps@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk or ring the school office on 01446 734844 and leave a message reporting your child’s absence and the reason why.  Please keep the school fully updated of your child’s absence.

Please be reminded that Vale Policy regarding sickness and diarrhoea requires your child to remain off school for 48 hours after the last incident.
